The Fort Bazaar – Colonial Atmosphere

The Fort Bazaar
Galle, Sri Lanka

Former merchant’s mansion from 17th century, located in the heart of the Galle Fort UNESCO site, built around a private courtyard full of charm. It took 9 years to renovate this hidden gem, and the bet is successful, as its Colonial Atmosphere will delight you for sure!

15 rooms and 3 suites with amazing balconies over-looking Church Street, some of the Banyan rooms and Bazaar rooms can be connected for families, and one Upper Family Suite has a loft bedroom suitable for children.

Church Street Social, Restaurant and café, serving an all-day menu with local products (Black Pork curry and crab curry to be tasted!) and Mediterranean recipes.

Picnic can be specially prepared to enjoy the view on your favourite spot while walking the Walls of the Galle Fort

Fantastic Spa (that I had to test for you!), library in the most beautiful room of the hotel, cinema outdoor, swimming pool coming soon…
