One of the many celebrations that animate India is Dussehra. It takes place between September and November, 15 days before Diwali (inquire before, the date depends on the lunar calendar). It celebrates the victory of good over evil, and ends with the burning of an effigy of the demon Ravana.
We had the chance to follow processions at different places in the city, with amazing photos at the key! In the morning of Dussehra, I advise you to visit the fortress because all the descendants of the maharajah meet for a very private ceremony, which ends with a procession, attended by those present in the fort but for which no advertisement is made. This is our little secret given by one of the members of the ruling family 😉
