Alsisar Haveli – Colonial Atmosphere

Alsisar Haveli
Jaipur Rajasthan

Former town house of one of the Rajput Barons, this house was built in 1892 in the heart of the pink city of Jaipur. It was later transformed into a hotel in 1994, after being tastefully renovated to meet the standards of comfort and luxury of the most demanding travelers. Very well located, not far from the famous Jaipur cinema and only 3 km from the Hawa Mahal or the Albert Hall Museum.

More than five centuries ago, the grandson of Maharaja Udaikaran of Amer, the great warrior Maharao Shekhaji, founded a sub-clan known as “Shekhawat”. Alsisar hotels are owned by this branch of the rajput clan “Kachawa”. Descendants of the family have renovated and transformed many family homes into luxury hotels. Traditional Rajput architecture was respected in every detail (for example, the alcoves surrounding the pool, a recent addition, seem to have always been there!).

45 rooms furnished in the purest style (antics furniture, traditional fabrics with medieval motifs), double or triple rooms

The Darbar hall welcomes you in its majestic setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Rajasthan specialties to be tasted on site

Around the pool, the bar serves snacks and cocktails for aperitifs.

Candlelight dinners can be arranged on the roof terrace with superb views

Swimming pool, spa, tour desk, boutique
