Alsisar Mahal Shekhawati – Colonial Atmosphere

Alsisar Mahal Shekhawati
Alsisar Rajasthan

In the heart of Shekhawati, a semi desert region in the center of the Bikaner-Jaipur-Dehli triangle, the magnificent palace of the Alsisar thakur transformed into a hotel to our delight.

More than five centuries ago, the grandson of Maharajah Udaikaran of Amer, the great warrior Maharao Shekhaji, founded a sub-clan known as “Shekhawat”. Alsisar hotels are owned by this branch of the rajput clan “Kachawa”. Descendants of the family have renovated and converted many family residences into luxury hotels, such as the Alsisar Mahal.

The Alsisar Mahal is a 17th century Fort located on the Silk Road between China and the Middle East. This palace presents exceptional fresco paintings.

51 immense and majestic rooms and suites, tastefully decorated in an ethnic chic style.

Gala dining room, rooftop restaurant, dinner in one of the inner courtyards or Badal Mahal restaurant (“Palace in the clouds”), you will have the embarrassment of choice!

Theme Bar (Dungeon Prison or World War II)

Beautiful swimming pool, billiards, library, visit the village’s havelis which date from the 17th and 18th centuries, an open-air museum! Safaris on horseback, camel, bull cart or jeep to explore the local fauna.
