We at Colonial Atmosphere give special mention to this recent hotel which is an invitation to go back in time. The place pays tribute to the explorers, botanists, ethnologists who played a fundamental role in the development of Luang Prabang and who have engraved their name in history. The building is new, but the French architect has managed to give a real colonial look thanks to a choice of very high-end materials, to old pieces of colonial era (fans, clock, reception counter …) and to a harmonious ensemble of several mansions. In the main house, the library Fumoir transports you in the atmosphere of the Belle Époque, a trip in itself!
Each of the 5 pavilions nestled in the tropical garden features 4 Pioneer suites, each with a magnificent view of the garden or the surrounding hills. You will also find four beautiful Explorator suites in the main building
The restaurant La Belle Époque, magnificent view of the tropical garden, chef with a refined cuisine, organic garden of 1000m2 in the back of the property which provided to the restaurant the fruits, vegetables and seasonal herbs. The bar 1861, furiously chic colonial atmosphere, with its leather sofas, photos of the Indochinese era and its signature cocktail, 1861 Vesper (based on Gin, Vodka, and Dry Martini).
Amazing swimming pool, botanical garden and memorial of each explorer, tuk-tuk as well as minivan of the hotel and complimentary bicycles available.
