This is a small resort composed of two villas and some rooms around a swimming pool. With very friendly staff, you feel that you belong to this big house.
I had the opportunity to stay in Villa Fou Nan (located opposite to the reception, on the other side of the street), which was a real wonder! It is a traditional Khmer house with a sitting room, an opened sleeping room, a dressing room and a bathroom. Decoration subtly mixes colonial furniture with khmer antics, and some modern materials such as cement tiles and waxed concrete in the bathroom. You don’t feel that you are in a hotel, but you feel like you are a special guest in a dream house. Materials are both superb and polished with time, some magazines and travels books invite you to escape on the low table… Nothing standardized, nothing ostentatious, an elegant and discrete authenticity.
