Built in 1938, this house was a private residence of the local nobility (Prince Khamtan, Princess Khampieng and their children) before being transformed into a boutique hotel. The Art Deco style prevails, with an elegant mix of French and English colonial furniture. The atmosphere is truly that of a private house, ideally located a few minutes walk from the historical heart of Luang Prabang.

The Vetiver, local and international cuisine in a colonial and exotic setting.
The poolside restaurant serves grilled meat and other traditional Laotian dishes (try the Sindad hotpot!) For a pleasant evening outdoors.

The Mouhot Bar (named after the naturalist and French explorer who died in Luang Prabang in 1826 and is a local figure) welcomes you from 10 am to 11 pm.
