It is the only boutique Hotel of Dubai. Located in the heart of Al Fahidi, Dubai’s Historical Neighbourhood (formerly known as Al Bastakiya), we fell in love with this Gallery and Hotel when it opened in 2003. Its owner, Mrs Mona Hauser, had the amazing idea to turn this century-old traditional wind-tower house into a boutique hotel and Gallery in order to promote local artist as well as the culture and history of the country. It is in total contrast with the other hotels of Dubai, provided a shiny and brand-new aesthetic. In XVA, you will find the authentic charm of the old stones, mixed with contemporary art and up-to-date comfort. Unique for its Persian architectural heritage, the mystery of its traditional maze-like alleyways and proximity to the Creek, Al Fahidi is viewed as one of the most important heritage sites in Dubai. XVA occupies the former home of the Seddiqi family.
Each room is inspired by the region and uniquely designed with artwork from XVA artists.
All rooms offer en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, minibar, safe, robe and slippers.
Our favourite rooms are located on the first floor, whose terrasses offer more brightness.
